Biluochun is a famous green tea originally grown in the Dongting mountain region near Lake Tai, Jiangsu, China. Also known as Pi Lo Chun, it is renowned for its delicate appearance, fruity taste, floral aroma, showy white hairs and early cropping. The name Biluochun literally means "Green Snail Spring". It is called so because it is a green tea that is rolled into a tight spiral, resembling snail meat, and is cropped early spring. Usage We recommend using glass-based or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 2-6 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 150ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 70C (158F) to 80C (176F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing. The first infusion is strong and has a lasting aftertaste. Second infusion features a more complex shifting fruity, flowery and nutty notes in the taste. Storage Protect against the tide, peculiar smell, keeps in low temperature and refrigerates it.
